Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of the ComparaAcum.ro platform ("the Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who we are

ComparaAcum.ro is an independent comparison platform for insurance, energy and internet/TV offers in Romania. Full company identification details will be published on this page once registration is finalised. You can reach us via the Contact page.

2. Nature of the service

• The Platform provides comparative information about offers available on the market, for information purposes only.
• ComparaAcum.ro is not an insurer, insurance broker/intermediary, energy supplier or telecom operator and does not sell the products displayed.
• Any contract is concluded directly with the provider, under the provider's own terms. Final price, contractual conditions and eligibility are confirmed exclusively by the provider.
• The information displayed does not constitute financial, legal or insurance advice.

3. Launch phase — demonstration data

The Platform is in its launch phase. Where explicitly marked, the offers and figures shown are demonstrative and illustrate how the Platform works. Integration of real provider offers is in progress. Do not make purchasing decisions based on data marked as demonstrative.

4. How we make money

The service is free for users. We may receive a commission from providers when a user selects an offer through the Platform (CPL/CPA model). This does not influence the order or manner in which offers are displayed, which we are committed to presenting impartially.

5. User accounts

• Creating an account is optional and free. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You can delete your account at any time from the "My account" page; deletion is permanent.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts used abusively (e.g. automated access, fraud attempts).

6. "Bruno" virtual assistant

The "Bruno" chat is an automated AI-based assistant. Its answers are general and informational, may contain errors and do not constitute advice. Always verify important information directly with the provider.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform's content (text, graphics, the Bruno mascot, code, structure) belongs to ComparaAcum.ro or its licensors and may not be copied or reused commercially without written consent. Provider trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used solely to identify offers.

8. Limitation of liability

• We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but do not guarantee its permanent accuracy, completeness or timeliness.
• We are not liable for decisions made based on information on the Platform, nor for products or services contracted with providers.
• We are not liable for temporary unavailability of the Platform or for the content of third-party websites we link to.

9. Data protection

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy policy and Cookie policy.

10. Dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Consumers may contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection — ANPC / ADR — or the EU online dispute resolution platform — ODR.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page with the last-updated date shown above. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
